Kemie King received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Maryland School of Law and her Bachelor’s degree from Temple University. Attorney King is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia, the State of Florida, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is a trial lawyer with extensive experience in litigating civil and criminal cases, and conducting jury and non-jury trials in State and Federal courts.
Her legal career began as an Assistant Public Defender. She went on to work for Covington and Burling, a prestigious law firm in Washington, DC. She has also served as an Assistant Attorney General in Broward County, Florida, prosecuting child abuse and neglect cases. Through her years of experience, Attorney King has always approached each case and each client with compassion. She understands the importance of treating every client with dignity and respect.
In addition to her legal advocacy, Attorney King has taught as an adjunct professor courses in Criminal Law, Juvenile Delinquency and Paralegal Studies. She is also active in several community service organizations.
